A selection of year 7 students took part in Women in STEM on Friday 26 October. The aim of this lesson was to encourage more girls to go into careers of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. We had two guest speakers, Louisa Wilson and Victoria Hanley, who came in to talk about what made them choose a career in STEM and to show the students what cool and exciting jobs they have and how they got to where they are today. The students came up with some amazing inventions that would shape the world we live in .
