Longdendale High School would like to invite you to open evening on Wednesday 27th September between 6-9pm.

If your child is in Year 4, 5 or 6 in primary school and is considering options for high school, our Open Evening is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students and their families to see first hand what our school has to offer.

Longdendale High School is a forward thinking and popular 11-16 academy set at the edge of the Peak District on the border of Tameside and Derbyshire. We are a vibrant, caring and inclusive school with a current intake of around 850 students.

The transition from primary to high or secondary school is an exciting time, full of challenges and experiences for both parent and child. We work hard to ensure we meet the individual needs of those we welcome into our school family and support the transition as much as possible.

If you would like your child to come to Longdendale High School and you are a Derbyshire or Tameside resident, you should follow the Tameside Council application procedure. This can be found on their website www.tameside.gov.uk/admissions
