This half term we have launched Forest School with our Key Stage 3 students. Within the sessions students are able to develop their confidence, self-esteem, emotional regulation and communication skills whilst spending time in our extensive grounds. Miss Handforth and Esther our Forest School leads have developed two sites within the school grounds and over the course of the next few weeks students will be working hard to personalise the sites further by creating outdoor artwork. So far students have enjoyed fire safety, fire lighting, cooking, Japanese plant printing and fire circle talk time. When asked what the students enjoyed about their first session Rylee's response was "EVERYTHING!".
