It was fabulous to host students from Hollingworth Primary School at our Languages festival yesterday. Year 5 students joined our language teachers Miss Humphreys and Mrs Jones for a day full of Spanish and French activities.

Supported by our four language ambassadors; Olivia and Christopher in Year 10, and Nell and Olivia in Year 8, our guests enjoyed a continental breakfast, where they were encouraged to practice speaking in Spanish and French.

Next, the students were split into groups, where they took part in classroom games and activities in Spanish. It was great to see everyone joining in so enthusiastically. The students then came together at the end to decorate plates and were awarded prizes and certificates.
